Pehle Socho
पहले सोचो, नुकसान से बचो।

Think ahead.
Protect your livelihood.

Pehle Socho tells a street vendor, a produce seller or a small shopkeeper, in Hindi and by voice, what tomorrow's weather could cost them in rupees, and the two or three things to do about it today.

How it works

Four steps a vendor already understands

1

बताओ · Tell

Tell us your work, where, your usual income and hours. Under five minutes, by voice if you like.

2

समझो · Understand

Every morning: today's risk, what it could cost you in rupees. Always a range, never a falsely exact number.

3

करो · Act

At most three specific actions: change hours, cut perishable stock, keep cash aside. You tell us what you did.

4

नापो · Measure

Next day we ask what actually happened. Estimate → action → outcome: the loop that makes the next advice better.

Voice, in Hindi

“आज कितना माल रखूँ?”

Tap the mic and ask in your own words. Answers use your profile and today's forecast. Never a generic reply. Short by default; “और detail बताओ” when you want the reasoning and the source.

Ask Pehle Socho: a question about stock answered from the live forecast
What if: five days of heavy rain, without and with preparation
What if?

Five days of rain. 45°C. Sales down 20%.

Pick a situation and see the likely hit to income, stock and cash, side by side with the same week with a preparation plan. Assumptions are listed and editable; confidence is stated.

Honest numbers

The AI explains. It never calculates.

Risk, exposure and savings come from a deterministic model fed by the live forecast and the user's own profile. The language model only turns them into plain Hindi, and its answer is rejected if it contains a number the model did not produce. Every estimate carries its source, timestamp and “यह अनुमान है, गारंटी नहीं।”

Where we are

A working prototype. Zero users yet. A Jaipur pilot next.

We are at prototype stage and say so. The first pilot is 20–50 urban food and produce vendors in one city, in Hindi, with real daily use. We measure whether people understand their risk, act on it, and report less loss. Not downloads or time in app.

Resilience intelligence for the people you already serve

Deploy Pehle Socho to a cohort and see aggregate risk, geography, intervention uptake and self-reported outcomes. Anonymised, never individual. Users stay free; institutions pay for deployment, dashboards and impact reporting.

Talk to us about a cohort
Aggregate riskWho in your cohort is exposed today, and to what.
Intervention uptakeWhich recommendations people actually follow, and why not.
OutcomesReported losses avoided, hours changed, recovery time.
Privacy by designNo names, no incomes, cohorts under 10 suppressed. Scores never drive eligibility.
